LVMH acquires majority stake in Nuti Ivo to integrate supply chain
LVMH Métiers d’Art, the specialist crafts division of luxury fashion company LVMH has acquired a majority stake in Italian leather goods supplier Nuti Ivo SpA Group for an undisclosed sum.
GlobalData analyst Louise Deglise-Favre says: "LVMH partially vertically integrating this supplier into its value chain will give it more control over its manufacturing. It will also help LVMH to meet the growing demand for its luxury leather goods.”
