The global apparel industry experienced a 26% rise in compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in company filings mentions of cybersecurity since 2020. Key companies in terms of mentions include Amazon.com, Kering, and Walmart, according to GlobalData’s analysis of over 1,050 apparel company filings.

Top five companies by mentions of cybersecurity in the global apparel industry since 2020  

Of the 50 leading companies in the apparel industry, Dollar Tree had the highest year-on-year increase in references to cybersecurity in 2022. GlobalData identified 26 cybersecurity related sentences in the company's filings in 2022, 1% of all sentences. Meanwhile, CK Hutchison had the highest year-on-year increase in references for cybersecurity in 2021. GlobalData identified 56 cybersecurity related sentences in the company's filings in 2021, 3% of all sentences.
